3. 강의목표
생명과학의 여러 핵심 원리들에 대한 폭넓은 소개를 통한 이해를 바탕으로, 다양한 생명현상들과 이 현상들의 바탕에 있는 다양한 원리들이 생명과학 이외의 학문 분야들(수학, 화학, 물리학, 화공, 전자, 컴퓨터, 신소재, 기계공학, 산업공학 등)에 어떻게 활용되고, 응용 되어 새로운 학문 및 연구 분야를 창출할 수 있는지에 대해서 이론적 바탕을 설명하고, 이어서 융합 연구의 구체적인 사례와 산업적 결과물에 대해 소개함으로써, 생명과학의 다양한 가능성을 본 강의를 통해 수강생들에게 제시하고자 한다.
In this course, building on the principal concepts of Life Sciences, we will introduce the theoretical grounds and practical examples to extend these principles to other disciplines (Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Management Engineering) that led to the foundation of a number of emerging scientific and research fields. Furthermore, the course will also cover specific case studies and industrial products from these interdisciplinary studies, demonstrating the vision of future integrative Life Sciences.
