3. 강의목표
This course aims to prepare junior-year graduate students and senior-year undergraduate students to learn scientific approaches driven by hypotheses that can be used to draw new conclusions from existing knowledge and/or observations, one of the most fundamental skills of a scientist.
5. 성적평가
- Attendance (40%): Absence for which a medical excuse is provided, conference attendance and other important issues will not be figured in the attendance grade.
- Assignment (30%): All assignments must be turned in by the due date.
- Participation (30%): This is 50% lecture/50% discussion and participation class. No formal presentation is mandated but active discussion is expected. Please participate actively.
- Quiz (Extra): Occasionally you will be challenged to solve short quizzes.
- No midterm/final exam.

- No cell phone is allowed unless silenced.
- Only beverages (water, juice, milk, coffee…) are allowed but not food.
