3. 강의목표

We learn basic techniques of multivariable calculus. We start from vectors, and proceed to multivariable functions and their properties: continuity, directional derivative, integration over spaces, curves and surfaces. Then we learn Green's, Stokes' and divergence theorem, which are very important in electromagnetism, fluid dynamics, and mechanical engineering.

9. 수업운영

Each week, there are two lectures by the instructor, and one recitation by the TA.
During a recitation, students are divided into smaller classes, and TA will show you how to solve homework problems and answer any questions you may have.
There will be weekly quizzes during the recitations.

Homework is not collected or graded, but the quiz problems are selected from the homework.
