3. 강의목표

This course explores the principles, techniques, and applications of terahertz (THz) imaging and sensing. Students will learn about the generation, detection, and manipulation of terahertz waves, as well as their use in various fields such as security, medicine, material characterization, and communication systems. The course will include theoretical lectures, hands-on laboratory sessions, and a final project.

1. Provide a comprehensive understanding of terahertz technology, including its history, properties, and applications.
2. Introduce students to various techniques for generating, detecting, and manipulating terahertz waves.
3. Explore the application of terahertz imaging and sensing in various fields.
4. Develop students' skills in designing and implementing terahertz imaging and sensing systems.
5. Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through the analysis of real-world case studies and hands-on laboratory sessions.
