3. 강의목표
This course handles the key concepts and techniques to design, analyze, manage and improve supply chain processes for various industries. A supply chain consists of all parties involved in fulfilling a customer request. The supply chain includes not only the manufacturer and suppliers, but also transporters, warehouses, retailers, and even customers themselves. Within each organization, such as a manufacturer, the supply chain includes all functions involved in receiving and filling a customer request. These functions include new product development, marketing, operations, distribution, finance, and customer service. The course provides system-wide views and managerial insights as well as analytical tool sets. Students will develop critical thinking, the ability to formulate and analyze problems, and support their recommendations with analytics that uses data literacy and computing skills.
