3. Course Objectives
본 강의는 확률 및 통계의 기본 이론을 학습하고, 이를 실험연구의 설계 및 결과분석에 응용하여 효율적인 실험연구 수행 능력을 배양함을 목표로 합니다.
We will study basic theories in probability and statistics, and apply them in the design and analysis of experimental research.

출석 및 과제물 25%, 퀴즈 10%, 중간고사 30%, 기말고사 35%를 합산하여 절대평가합니다.
총 100점 만점에서 85 이상 A, 70 이상 B, 55이상 C. (+/0/- 의 세부학점은 시험난이도에 따라 추후 결정)
과제 제출시한 엄수; 추가 시험 없음!
25% for attendance and assignments; 10% for Quiz, 30% for the midterm exam; 35% for the final exam
Out of 100, A for 85 and up, B for 70 and up, C for 55 and up. (Sub grades of +/0/- will be determined later depending on the problem level of the exams.)
No late assignment submission will be accepted; No make-up exams!

이 과목은 수학230 확률및통계, 산경272 공학기초통계와 동등 과목으로 중복 수강은 불가합니다.
수학과 전공, 복수전공 또는 부전공을 희망하는 학생은 수학230을 수강하여야 합니다.
This course is cross-listed to MATH230 and IMEN272, and you are not allowed to take both.
Students in Mathematics (including sub-major and double-major) are required to take MATH230.
