3. Course Objectives
The purpose of this course is to help students learn that scientific ideas can be precisely formulated with mathematical languages , that science is a source of mathematical ideas that profoundly shape the development of mathematics, and that mathematics can furnish brilliant answers to important scientific problems.
For example, why do we consider the "numbers" ? Where can we employ them ? In fact, numbers are scalars and, in real (industrial or experimental) life, may symbolize the objects as energy, distance, density, temperature, and so on. Eventually, we formulate scientific problems with mathematical languages and can solve, provide well-organized algorithms for the problems.
