3. Course Objectives

This course deals with the basic properties of complex analytic functions required for applications.

Especially we will study the following topics:
-Analytic functions, Cauchy-Riemann Equations
-Complex Integration
-Power Series and Laurent Series
-Conformal mappings

We also discuss some applications including evaluation of real definite integrals and two dimensional potential problems.
