3. Course Objectives

The class is to establish basic knowledge on essential topics of condensed mater physics. Students expect to understand how to describe and understand electrons/ions' motions, physical phenomena in crystals under various environments.

4. Prerequisites & require

Undergraduate levels core physics courses (QM, E&M, Thermal physics/statistical mechanics, solid state physics)
