3. 강의목표

Significant efforts have been dedicated to developing and improving new materials for lithium-ion batteries to meet the growing power and energy demands of mobile electronics and electric vehicles. However, the widespread adoption of large-format lithium-ion batteries remains limited due to high costs, safety concerns, and limitations in energy density and calendar life. Advanced materials processing techniques offer promising solutions to these challenges.
This course provides a comprehensive overview of key materials processing methods used in the fabrication of cathodes, anodes, and separators for lithium-ion batteries. To cultivate specialized professionals in the field of secondary batteries, and reflect the needs of industry, the curriculum goes beyond basic principles to include instruction on battery materials, synthesis strategies, and cell assembly. Additionally, guest lectures (in Korean) by leading experts from academia and industry will offer insights into current issues and real-world practices in Korea’s secondary battery sector.

신입생 및 학부생을 위한 수업입니다. 기존에 이차전지 관련 연구를 수행하는 대학원생이 수강하기에는 적절하지 않은 수업이니 이차전지 연구실 기 입학 학생들은 수강신청 하지 말아 주세요. 지도교수님들께도 이미 부탁 말씀 드렸습니다.
Students are expected to have the “basic knowledge” about General Chemistry
