3. Course Objectives

To understand the basic of polymerized silicate-based glass structure, which will govern the various thermo-physical properties of engineering glass and slag system such as viscosity, thermal conductivity, electric conductivity, and refining capacities. Other glass systems based on CaO-Al2O3 will also dealt with.
