3. Course Objectives

To provide the students with the mathematical basic concepts of control theory in the frequency-domain.
It is strongly recommend for students, who are interested in demonstration of control theory, to take `EECE 376-02.'

Prerequisite: EECE233 Signals and Systems
Recommended: MATH 300 Applied Linear Algebra, MATH 310 Complex Variables

The following chapters are based on the textbook by “Feedback Control of Dynamic Systems.”

1. Mathematical basics for control systems
2. Analysis for feedback systems
3. Frequency response analysis

-Synthesis for control systems-
The following chapters are based on the textbook by “Feedback Control Theory.”

4. Controller synthesis for nominal systems
5. Robust control for uncertain systems

Lecture note will be provided.

Exams will be closed book tests and strongly based on the topics covered in the class
