3. 강의목표
Tissue engineering is the use of a combination of cells, engineering and materials methods, and suitable biochemical and physiochemical factors to improve or replace biological functions. This course teaches fundamentals that span several academic areas related to tissue engineering to students who have a mechanical engineering background, and introduces various approaches to research. Topics includes integrated knowledge covering biomaterials, cells, biofabrications, biologically inspired systems and biomanufacturing for translating technologies to advanced tissue therapeutics (in e.g. cardiovascular system, bone, skin, cartilage..).
