Students will develop the following capabilities and skills through the course:
• Fundamental knowledge of human characteristics, ergonomic design techniques, and design issues in various application domains.
• Application of human characteristics and ergonomic design techniques to product design and development for better safety, usability, and productivity of users.
• Visualization, presentation, and documentation to effectively communicate ideas and findings of ergonomic research and design.
