[ Attendance Policy ]
This course is graded based on attendance.
In the event of an official absence, students are required to submit a formal request for attendance substitution to the course professor in advance of the seminar date.
Students are required to be in the seminar room at least 5 minutes before the seminar begins.
Students who enter the seminar room 5 to 20 minutes after the seminar begins will be marked as late.
Students who enter the seminar room more than 20 minutes after the seminar begins will be marked as absent.
Two instances of tardiness will be counted as one absence.
Students will fail the course if they have three unauthorized absences during the 2026-1 semester.

[ Seminar Course Requirements ]
-Master’s Program students are required to complete a minimum of two semesters of DANE seminar courses.
-M.S.–Ph.D. Integrated Program students are required to complete a minimum of five semesters of DANE seminar courses.
-Ph.D. Program students are required to complete a minimum of three semesters of DANE seminar courses.
