This course is a project-based capstone experience that integrates the theories and analytical methodologies learned in Industrial and Management Engineering to systematically define and solve complex problems arising in real industrial and societal contexts through team-based collaboration. Students engage in the entire problem-solving process, starting with problem formulation and progressing through system analysis, data-driven modeling, design and implementation, performance evaluation, and assessment of commercialization potential. Throughout this process, they are expected to consider not only technical feasibility but also economic viability, market potential, and operational efficiency from an Industrial and Management Engineering perspective. By comparatively analyzing emerging technologies applied to problem solving, students gain opportunities to explore their applicability and future development trajectories. Throughout all stages of the project, students are expected to take the initiative in independent learning, enhance their teamwork and project management skills, and cultivate integrated analytical and industrial problem-solving abilities
