기계공학과의 학문적 배경과 주 문제 및 해결을 위한 접근방법, 연구분야 등의 주제를 소개함으로써 기계공학에 대한 전반적인 개념을 익힐 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 전공을 탐색할 수 있도록 한다.
