3. Course Objectives

질점 (particle or mass center) 의 운동 해석을 바탕으로, 강체 (rigidbody)의 운동을 이해하고 해석하는 방법을 배우고, 더 나아가 여러 개의 강체로 이루어진 간단한 기계 시스템의 상대 운동을 이해하고 해석하는 기법을 습득한다

Through analyzing the motion of bodies (particle and rigid body),students study the principles of kinematics and kinetics, which involvethe relationships of force, mass, velocity, and acceleration with time,impulse and momentum, and work and energy. Instrumental interpretationsabout mechanisms of typical rigid body elements such as cam systems,rotating systems as gears, and rotors are mainly handled.
