9. 수업운영

This is a tentative plan and subject to changes depending on situation.

- On-line class with recorded video clips & supplementary materials.
- Video clips and supplementary materials will be uploaded on PLMS ahead of class.
- Attendance is acknowledged for 3 days after the video clip and materials are uploaded.
- Students are expected to attend all classes.
- Students are encouraged to frequently check the course page on PLMS for updates.
- Optional real-time on-line Q&A sessions can be provided during the semester (on-demand)
- There will be one or two numerical simulation sessions during the semester.

- Homework will be assigned approximately once a week and posted on PLMS. Homework should be turned in via PLMS before the due date. Late homework will not be collected. For each homework, a randomly selected half number of problems will be graded.

- A comprehensive final exam will be given at the end of the semester. All the material that is reviewed in class will be covered in the final exam. Both midterm & final exams will be closed-book and emphasize understanding of basic concepts and basic problem solving skills. No make-up exams will be allowed except for legitimate circumstances, e.g., a verified medical emergency.
- Detailed exam format will be announced later (e.g. on-line or off-line).

- Policies on academic dishonesty will be strictly enforced.
