This is the second semester sequel of ‘Organic Chemistry’. Emphasis is given to the development of basic organic chemical principles and their applications in terms of the structure and reactivity of representative functionalities, and structure elucidation methods and synthesis.

Prerequisites: Passing grade of CHEM 221: Organic Chemistry l
5. 성적평가
Will be based on exams (mid-term and final) and quiz & homework. Excessive absence from the class may be a cause of failing grade.
Mid-term exam: 30%
Final exam: 30%
Quiz & homework: 30%
Attendance: 10%

Before class: Strongly recommended to see the previous lecture videos of Organic Chemistry 2 uploaded on PostechX.
In Class: Lecture and Q & A.
After class: Homework and discussion session with TA.
Languages: Mainly English (with some Korean allowed)

Entire lecture will be conducted in English. However, upon request, some portions of the lecture may be delivered in Korean for enhanced understanding. Students are also encouraged to communicate in English in the class.
