3. 강의목표

This course provides lectures on the essentials of thermal physics and the basics of statistical physics. Students will learn why and how thermal physics was established and the physical laws governing many-particle systems in contact with a heat reservoir. In the part of statistical physics, we relate thermodynamics with microscopic theory and see the connection between the macroscopic phenomena and microscopic physics theory.

5. 성적평가

중간고사(30%), 기말고사(30%), 과제(30%), 출석(10%)을 종합하여 100점 만점으로 환산하여 절대평가함.
(The evaluation plan will be given in detail in the first lecture and described in the Syllabus).

8. 강의진도계획

The lecture will be given based on the textbook informed.
The book has three big parts: Fundamentals, thermodynamics, and statistical physics. We will cover most of the topic except for the interacting systems.

현재 코로나 상황으로 비대면강의로 예정되어 있음. 상황이 바뀌면 대면강의로 전환할 예정임.
중간고사와 기말고사는 대면으로 실시할 예정임.
