Students will develop the following capabilities and skills through the course:
- Understanding of the concepts, processes, issues, and techniques of product design & development (PDD)
- Abilities to develop novel product design concepts and ideas in a systematic manner
- Skills of visualization, presentation, and documentation to communicate ideas and results of product design and development
- Application of the PDD knowledge set to real-world problems
