The purpose of this course is to introduce main ideas and applications of economics. We discuss the economic behavior of consumers, firms, and governments, market equilibrium, and their applications.

Total score for each student = Max((1), (2)) as follows:
(1) Midterm Exam (30%) + Quiz/Assignment/Class participation (30%) + Final Exam (30%) + Attendance (10%) = 100%
(2) Midterm Exam (20%) + Quiz/Assignment/Class participation (30%) + Final Exam (40%) + Attendance (10%) = 100%

- 최근 경제 및 금융 이슈에 대한 공부와 토론을 위해 수업 시간에 제시할 예정임.

- 강의계획과 평가방법은 코로나19로 인해 학교의 대면강의/비대면 강의 결정에 따라 변경될 수 있으나, 변경시 안내할 예정임.
- 강의교재의 9th edition이 2021년 출시되었지만, 8th edition(ISBN: 9789814792301)을 가지고 있는 경우에도 교재 내용이 거의 같으므로 어떤 edition으로 공부를 해도 상관이 없음.
- 첫번째 수업에서 오리엔테이션을 진행함.
- 수강변경기간 중 수업은 정상 진행하되 출결사항은 수강변경기간 이후부터 평가에 반영함.
- 강의 상황 및 수강생 피드백을 반영하여 일부 내용이 추가되는 등 주차별 강의계획은 일부 변동될 수 있음.

- 출석, 지각 등 출결 관련
질병, 예비군 훈련, 면접 등 증빙서류 제출이 가능한 경우 공결로 처리함.
학교 및 학과의 규정을 따름.

- 중간/기말고사 및 과제에서 컨닝, 표절 등 부정행위 관련
중간/기말고사에서 각종 부정행위를 하거나 사후에라도 적발된 경우 해당 시험을 0점으로 처리함.
과제 작성시 다른 학생의 과제를 베끼거나 출처/참고문헌 표시 없이 사용한 경우 감점함.
사안이 심각한 경우 학교 및 학과에 보고함.
