This lecture aims at your understanding on the basic principles of organic chemistry, by focusing on the structure and reactivity relationship of organic molecules.

Will be based on exams (mid-term and final), quiz, and homework.
Excessive absence from the class may be a cause of failing grade.
Mid-term exam: 30%
Final exam: 30%
Quiz & homework: 30%
Attendance: 10%

Before class: Strongly recommended to read the textbook before class.
After class: Homework and discussion session with TA.
Languages: Mainly English (with some Korean allowed)

Lecture will be mainly conducted in English. However, upon request, some portions of the lecture may be delivered in Korean for enhanced understanding. Students are also encouraged to communicate in English in the class.
