3. 강의목표
This course is designed to provide an introduction to the concepts and principles used in the modern treatment of electronic solids. The lectures are organized to gives a clear exposition of the elements of physics of perfect crystalline solids, from electronic states in periodic structures and the associated electronic bands in solids, to static properties and electron transport properties in solids. This course aims to give students an appreciation of the basic concepts of various electronic processes in modern materials science, and the lectures form the basis for the electronic materials track courses in particular.
