This course provides an introduction to a broad range of economic concepts, theories and analytical techniques. We discuss the economic behavior of consumers, firms, and governments, market equilibrium, and their applications. Why should you embark on the study of
economics? The first reason to study economics is that it will help you understand the world in which you live. The second reason is that it will make you a more astute participant in the economy. The third reason is that it will give you a better understanding of both the potential and the limits of economic policy. Thus, the principles of economics can be applied in many of life’s situations.

Total score for each student = Max((1), (2)) as follows:
(1) Midterm Exam (30%) + Quiz/Assignment/Class participation (30%) + Final Exam (30%) + Attendance (10%) = 100%
(2) Midterm Exam (20%) + Quiz/Assignment/Class participation (30%) + Final Exam (40%) + Attendance (10%) = 100%

- 최근 경제 및 금융 이슈에 대한 공부와 토론을 위해 수업 시간에 제시할 예정 입니다.

- 강의계획과 평가방법은 코로나19로 인해 정부 및 학교 결정에 따라 변경될 수 있으나, 변경시 PLMS 공지사항을 통해 안내할 예정 입니다.
- 강의교재의 9th edition이 2021년 출시되었지만, 8th edition(ISBN: 9789814792301)을 가지고 있는 경우에도 교재 내용이 거의 같으므로 어떤 edition으로 공부를 해도 상관이 없습니다.
