3. 강의목표
This course provides lectures on the essentials of thermal physics and the basics of statistical physics. Students will learn why and how thermal physics was established and the physical laws governing many-particle systems in contact with a heat reservoir. In the part of statistical physics, we relate thermodynamics with microscopic theory and see the connection between the macroscopic phenomena and microscopic physics theory.

NOTE: Midterm/Final exams will be taken at the class room informed, if otherwise stated.
NOTE: Grade is given with a scale (0--100pts). S/U grade: Students will have S grade if his/her grade is equal to or higher than B0.
