3. 강의목표
The eventual goal of calculus is to precisely formulate scientific ideas in real and industrial life and to develop them profoundly.
So we need to study basic techniques for multivariable calculus. We start from vectors, and proceed to in-depth study of multivariable functions: continuity, directional derivative, integration on spaces, curves and surfaces. Finally we need to understand Green's, Stokes' and divergence theorems. They are very important in studying fluid dynamics(유체역학), Maxwell's equations (전자기방정식들), etc.

5. 성적평가
- Midterm (40%) + Final (60%)
- Absences exceeding 8 times will lead to automatic F. (absence to a recitation session is equivalent to 0.5 absence)
- Exams will be common to all sections. Absence to the exam will also be taken care of according to the regulations of the University with no exception.
