Development of conceptual and applied design skills through exercises involving the design process and through the completion of an IT engineering design project. More independent learning process and experience of solving difficult real world problems are rqruied for leaders The intent of this course is to instill in the students the confidence to complete the design process on their own.

9/13 – 1st project topic selection presentation, Technical advisor selection
9/20 – Advised topic presentation, Proposal submission
10/18 – 1st in-class demo
11/15 – 2nd in-class demo
12/xx – Final demo presentation, Evaluation
(Final report submission: one week after the final demo)

Students need to perform their own design projects daily basis, and provide the progress report to their primary and technical advisors every week. Finally, students demonstrate their design outcomes twice at the middle and end of the semester.
