3. Course Objectives

This class will discuss recent research papers in the field of biophysics, mostly oriented toward experimental studies.
At the same time, the course aims to (a) practice developing and organizing research ideas, and (b) improve scientific communication skills among young researchers.

4. Prerequisites & require

A basic understanding of biophysics is required. PHYS413/IBIO526 is recommended as a prerequisite.

5. Grading

Attendance: 20%
Presentations: 45% (~3 times/semester)
Participation: 35%
