- Learn basic concepts of microeconomics (mostly) and macroeconomics.
- Understanding the behavior of consumers and firms.
- Understanding the benefit of trading.
- Understanding the advantages (and disadvantages) of the market economy, and how the government's intervention can be helpful.

No prerequisite courses.

Midterm 30%, Final 40%, Homework 20%, Participation and Attendance 10%
