3. 강의목표
Postechian Core Capabilities: Global Citizen Capability (100%)
One of the goals of this course is to improve students' understanding and ability to participate as global citizens by achieving a strong command of English and its culture, both of which are necessary to engage the world.
Advanced Listening & Speaking is a course designed to develop students listening and speaking skills. In this course, a combination of visual and oral information from authentic sources that have an intrinsic attractiveness and interest for students will be presented. Course material will provide rich cultural and linguistic material to stimulate the student’s senses. This is an integrated skills course that requires students to participate actively throughout the semester. This course builds upon, and has higher student performance expectations, than that of Intermediate Listening and Speaking.

10. 학습법 소개 및 기타사항
Course Objectives:
• Provide a significant amount of exposure to target language culture.
• Expose students to a linguistic variety of accents, vocabulary and contexts.
• Develop student’s ability to handle genuine language input.
• Improve students understanding of stress, intonation and use of gestures in communication.
• Develop language skills through pre-viewing, viewing and post viewing activities.
• Through role playing and video monitoring students will have an opportunity for a deeper self-analysis and awareness of their language abilities.
