3. 강의목표
This course will provide a fundamental understanding of emerging semiconductors (metal oxide, perovskite, organic) and related device physics based on a solid understanding of silicon semiconductors and device physics. First, the silicon semiconductor and devices will be reviewed before the mid-term exam. Then the physics of new semiconductors including organic, perovskite, and metal oxide will be covered. The following lecture will be given,
(1) semiconductor introduction crystal structure.
(2) density of state
(3) charge carrier in equilibrium
(4) charge carrier in non-equilibrium
(5) charge transport
(6) pn junction
(7) metal-semiconductor contact
(8) MOS and MOSFET
(9) TFT
(10) Perovskite materials and devices
(11) metal oxide materials and devices
(12) organic materials and devices

1. Course Attitude & Attendance: 10% (When you are absent for 6 times, "Fail" grade will be given.)
