3. Course Objectives

This class consists of a series of lectures with topics in computer science. Each week a specific area of computer science will be introduced by one of professors in the CS department. The goal of this class is to introduce research areas, current topics, and future directions of computer science. There are no prerequisites.

컴퓨터 공학에 관심이 있는 저년차 학부생들을 위한 과목으로 컴퓨터공학의 현재와 미래에 관해 알기 쉽고 재미있게 소개합니다. 컴퓨터 공학의 다양한 분야 및 최신 연구 방향, 학과 교수들의 실험실 연구 소개 및 교과목의 체계에 대해 알아봅니다. (~2017학번까지 수강 과목)

Students are required to write a one-page report after the class. Grade will be given based on the reports and class attendance.
