3. 강의목표

This course focuses on the fundamentals for various signal processing (image and speech processing, radar signal processing, etc.) and various systems (communication, control and radar systems etc.), often encountered in electrical engineering. Students will learn basic relations between signals and systems, and useful mathematical tools to understand them. The topics include the basic definitions of signals and systems, LTI systems, Fourier transforms, sampling theory, Laplace transforms and z-transforms. All these topics will be discussed in the framework of both continuous and discrete-time basis simultaneously.

4. 강의선수/수강필수사항

No pre-requisites but the followings are recommended:
Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations (or working knowledge on linear constant-coefficient differential equations)

5. 성적평가

- Midterm Exam (40%), Final Exam (40%), Homework(20%)
- Cheating will give you F grades with no excuse.
- Final grade of students with more than three absences in the class will be lowered in one-step. (Ex. A0 ---> A-)
