3. 강의목표
Primary topics of this course include detailed discussions of physical organicchemistry (structure and properties) and understanding of fundamentally important and practically useful reactions in terms of mechanisms. The current status of organic chemistry is such that there is simply too much information. Thus, objective of this course should not be collecting and memorizing as much information as possible. Rather it should be learning how to construct a system of understanding based on observations, theories, principles, and paradigms, so that students can continually learn and be creative by asking questions and thinking oneself.
