3. 강의목표

This course is intended for 1st-year graduate students (and advanced undergraduate students) already familiar with the Schrodinger equation and energy levels of hydrogen atoms. This course does not provide an introduction to quantum mechanics for beginners. Instead, this course aims to help students develop “quantum intuition” by exposing them to different ways to understand quantum mechanics such as representations, Schrodinger & Heisenberg pictures, propagators, Feynman path integrals, and also to advanced topics such as the theory of rotation, angular momentum addition, Bell’s inequality, and symmetry.

5. 성적평가

The grade will be determined based on the points you earned (out of 100pt in total) from the midterm exam (30pt), final exam (40pt), weekly problem sets (20pt), and lecture participation (10pt).
